Closing Date: Sunday 10-15-2007 Linda Miltz Peoples Choice Award: Kat Simons from the Lite 98 radio show "Kat's Cafe" will be Awarding the Linda Miltz" trophy to the cat voted: "Most Likely to Steal Your Heart" by Exhibitors and Spectators. Household Pets - HHPs will be judged in all 6 rings. Adult cats (8 month or older) must be altered. Kittens must be at least 4 months of age. Household pets are not eligible for competition if they have been de-clawed. All cats must be entered prior to the show closing.

Fees - Hours - Check-in on Saturday 7:30 - 8:30 Show judging hours are 9-6 Sat. Doors will be open to the Public 9 - 5 Sat. Show Hall - The Showplace Annex, 3002 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Richmond, VA. The Show Hall is both heated and air conditioned. This is a Non-Smoking facility. Show Hotel - Southern Dixie is proud to announce that we are staying with the Wyndham Richmond Airport at 4700 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 Phone: 804-226-4300. This will give our exhibitors a high quality hotel experience at a reasonable rate. Rate: $74.00 plus applicable Taxs. The Wyndham does require a $10.00 NON-REFUNDABLE pet fee for a TOTAL Rate=$84.00. Let’s prove that CFA exhibitors don’t require deposits! Reservations made before 9/26/07 will get the rate guarantee from a reserved block of rooms. After 9/26/05, rooms must be available to get the Show rate. You MUST specify Southern Dixie Show when making the reservation. Specific directions will accompany your confirmation. Supplies - Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, water/food dishes. Health - This is a non-vetted show. Southern Dixie strongly recommends testing for FeLV/FIV. Cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be asked to leave the show hall. Benching - All benching will be by exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager. Cages are 22"W x 22"H x 22"D.
